OPID’s spring conference on Thursday, Apr. 11, 2019 and Friday, Apr. 12, 2019 in Madison will feature some of the extraordinary teaching and learning taking place throughout the University of Wisconsin System. Faculty and instructional academic staff are invited to share their teaching and learning experiences with examples of innovative, critical and reflective teaching and learning practices with a special focus on the joyful moments, as well as challenges, disappointments and re-visions. Proposals should acknowledge the impact identity has on one’s pedagogy, and are due on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018. Proposals will be blind peer-reviewed by faculty and instructional academic staff throughout the UW System with results emailed by mid-January 2019.
