Friday, Oct. 11 is next Global Studies conversation

Global Studies hosts “Invention of Nature – Alexander von Humboldt’s New World: A Book Discussion,” Friday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in MAC 201/Gathering Room, Green Bay Campus. The book is available at The Phoenix Bookstore. This book relates to a semester-long celebration of the legacy of Alexander von Humboldt, whose 250th birthday anniversary the world observes in 2019. The conversation will be led by Prof. Cristina Ortiz (Global Studies, Humanities and Spanish). These discussions allow the campus to have important and timely conversations about topical events and processes around the world. The book is available at The Phoenix Bookstore.
