EMBI announces WCSWMA Scholarship recipients

Two UW-Green Bay students earned scholarships through the Wisconsin Counties Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA). Emily Drown, a student employee with Environmental Management Business Institute (EMBI), and Kirby Katers, incoming freshman for fall 2017, each received one of four available WCSWMA 2017-2018 scholarships. Congratulations to Emily and Kirby for their accomplishment and for representing UW-Green Bay! WCSWMA is an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission focused on environmental education, solid waste management, recycling, environmental engineering and the environmental sciences. In order to achieve its mission, WCSWMA has developed a scholarship program for university students majoring in fields related to the noted fields.
