Fifth annual ‘Teachers Eat Free’ day

In observance of National Teacher’s Day on Tuesday, May 6, 38 participating Applebee’s restaurants across Wisconsin will offer all teachers a free select entrée during regular business hours. No other purchase is necessary. Every teacher — present or retired, public school or private, daycare through university as well as homeschool — is invited to take part in this nationally recognized day of appreciation. See more details and a list of participating Applebee’s locations.

The UWGB sorority Zeta Omega Tau will reap the proceeds of a fundraiser on Wednesday, April 23. Applebee’s at 2420 East Mason St. will donate 15% of food sales from the guest checks of all redeemed flyers (which can be found near the University Ticketing area in the University Union). Sorority sisters ask that you pick up a flyer and eat for a great cause.
