Reminder on LGBTQ, inequality, SAFE Ally events this week
• Wednesday, Feb. 19 — The LGBTQ Resource Center is sponsoring a Transgender Guest Panel from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Christie Theatre, followed by an open house with cake and refreshments in the LGBTQ Resource Center.
• Wednesday, Feb. 19 — The American Intercultural Center and the Dean of Students are sponsoring the screening of the award-winning film “Inequality for All” from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Christie Theatre. The 2013 documentary features former U.S. cabinet secretary Robert Reich sharing his views on what he says is the nation’s most pressing problem: a widening economic gap.
• Friday, Feb. 21 — SAFE Ally training will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. in the LGBTQ Resource Center, adjacent to the AIC. To register for this class, and to inquire about others including the new Level 2 class, please contact director Stacie Christian at ChristiS@uwgb.edu.
