‘Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings’ coming to the Lawton Gallery, Jan. 30

Christine Style Retrospective Show PosterThe Lawton Gallery would like to announce the opening of the exhibition “Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings.” This retrospective will showcase select works of Prof. Emeritus Christine Style, spanning over her 30+ year career. Style, who got her MFA in Printmaking from UW-Milwaukee, works primarily in printmaking and drawing, and pieces will be selected and curated for this exhibition by Annemarie Sawkins.

The opening reception will take place Thursday, Jan. 30, 2020 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Lawton Gallery (Theatre Hall, Room 230). The Exhibition will be open from January 30, 2020 to Feb. 28, 2020 during gallery hours (Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

The Lawton Gallery would also like to invite students, faculty and community members to attend an artist talk by Christine Style on Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Studio Arts Room 411. Style will be talking about her work on display in the exhibition “Christine Style Retrospective: A Passion for Prints and Drawings.”
