Former Phoenix standouts play indoors for Milwaukee Wave

The Milwaukee Wave franchise of the Major Indoor Soccer League is leading the league with a 7-1 record, thanks in part to the contributions of two former Phoenix players. Midfielder JC Banks joined the team this year, as did defender Tony Walls, who played outdoor in 2012 with the Chicago Fire. Both Banks (2009) and Walls (2011) are former Horizon League Players of the Year. The Wave plays home matches at the U.S. Cellular Arena and finishes its 20-game season March 2.
