UW-Green Bay Music presents Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band concert March 3

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band will join forces Saturday, March 3, performing a 7:30 p.m. concert in the Cofrin Family (main) Hall at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.

The program will kick off with the UW-Green Bay Symphonic Band performing such works as “Amazing Grace” by Frank Ticheli, “Two Short Suites after Gervaise” by Robert Margolis and “Prelude and Fugue in G minor” by Johann Sebastian Bach. Following intermission, the Wind Ensemble will take the stage, performing works that include “Folk Song Suite” by Ralph Vaughan Williams, “O Magnum Mysterium” by Morten Lauridsen and “Water Music Suite” by George Frederick Handel. UW-Green Bay Associate Prof. Kevin Collins, Arts and Visual Design, will conduct the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble.
