UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance and Music present ‘Legally Blonde The Musical,’ Nov. 16-18

GREEN BAY – University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Theatre and Dance and Music will present “Legally Blonde The Musical” Nov. 16 through Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre located in UW-Green Bay’s Theatre Hall building. This fabulously fun, international award-winning musical is based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde. The musical follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This action-packed musical explodes on the stage with memorable songs and dynamic dances. Equal parts hilarious and heart-warming, this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal!

The play features music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach and is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. “Legally Blonde The Musical” is produced by special arrangement with MTI (Music Theatre International).

UW-Green Bay’s performance is directed by Laura Riddle, with musical direction by Courtney Sherman and choreography by Denise Carlson-Gardner. Elizabeth Seidl is the stage manager, with Lorelei Zimmerman as assistant musical director and Kassie Laylan as assistant to the choreographer. Matthew Beecher is assistant to the scenic designer and Jenevieve Lee is properties master.

The cast features Emily Ahrens as Elle Woods, Chase Grabowski as Emmett Forrest, Guinevere Casper as Paulette, Matt Courchaine as Professor Callahan, Hayley Eastman as Serena, Sara Eastman as Pilar, Faith Klick as Brooke Wyndam, Andrea Kuhlow as Vivienne Kensington, Raquel Lopez as Margo, Adam Rosenow as Warner Huntington III, and Liz Valentin as Enid. The ensemble features Hayden Barlass, Kevin Cervantes, Andrea Cornett, Jaquan Davenport, Andrew Delaurelle, Selena Deer, Alyssa Hannam, Julia Kreitzer, Kassie Laylan, Amanda Meo, Ryan Rickard, Aisa Rogers, Chay Schmitt and Emilie Sullivan.
