UW-Green Bay 2017 Holiday Parade Float

About 85 members of the campus community participated in the Green Bay Holiday Parade on Saturday (Nov. 18, 2017). This year, thanks to your generous donations, the committee has collected nearly 500 items — new or gently used hats, mittens, coats, blankets, scarves, socks and jackets (and some beautifully crafted wool mittens) — for those in need. Student-athletes, dance team members, spirit squad members and the the UWGB Hip Hop team participated in the parade. UW-Green Bay’s theme was “Phlashes in Time.” Those watching the parade also made their own memories, posing for photos with members of the UW-Green Bay community. UW-Green Bay parade sponsors were The Phoenix Bookstore, the UW Credit Union, Liberty Mutual and the UW-Green Bay Alumni Association. Official donation count:

202 hats, headbands, earmuffs
145 pair of gloves
47 pair of socks
43 scarfs
23 blankets
22 coats
3 sweaters
1 pair of snow pants
1 pair of adorable little bitty snow boots.
