Packers fans show off Super Bowl bling

Packers fans had the ring of champions on Nov. 9 when, as part of a promotion, a Jostens rep brought a facsimile of the over-the-top, unbelievably large Super Bowl XLV ring to campus.

Phoenix Bookstore manager Pat Sorelle, students, staff and a stream of visitors took turns posing with the hallowed jewelry. The bookstore set up a Packers-theme photo backdrop where visitors could pose for a snapshot wearing the ring. The store then emailed a jpg to each ring-wearer for a one-of-a-kind “greetings from Titletown” link to the World Champion Packers.
