Giving back: Founders members meet student researchers
More than 100 supporters and friends of the University gathered for the Founders Association Spring Reception, where guests enjoyed a casual environment and a chance to meet with some of UW-Green Bay’s top student researchers. The student researchers were selected to showcase their work previously at the Posters in the Rotunda celebration at the state Capitol in Madison, in April. Greeting the guests were Assistant Chancellor for University Advancement Bev Carmichael, Chancellor Thomas Harden and Founders Association President Rob Cera. UWGB Music faculty John Salerno and Adam Gaines provided music.
Established in 1972, the Founders Association generates support for students by providing annual scholarships and academic program support. Faculty, staff, alumni and community members make up the organization that is nearly 1,500 members strong.
