Phuture Phoenix Day

On Friday, April 22, more than 350 Edison Middle school eighth graders took part part in UW-Green Bay’s popular Phuture Phoenix program, a coordinated effort to inspire academic success and alert children to educational opportunities that are available to them. On Tuesday, April 26 first-and third-grade students from Tigerton were on campus for a Weidner Center production and contacted the Phuture Phoenix office for a tour. “We feel that the more touches we can provide, the more likely students are to pursue post-secondary educational opportunities,” says Phuture Phoenix Director Mary Sue Lavin.
