UW-Green Bay History Club looks back and reaches out

UW-Green Bay history professors, students and alumni mixed it up with more than 1,000 school-aged children in Milwaukee last weekend (March 5-6). The History Club ran a booth on ancient pottery, and Prof. Greg Aldrete of Humanistic Studies and his former student Scott Bartell demonstrated their Linothorax Project at the Archaeology Fair at the Milwaukee Public Museum. The Archaeological Institute of America played a large role in the event that featured more than 20 interactive exhibits and presentations intended especially for children. Detailed information can be found on the websites of the AIA and the Milwaukee Public Museum.
