Keep Comm and Carry On!

UWGB Comm Week 2018 Banquet

It was billed as “Four Days of Communication Fun” and a time when “UW-Green Bay’s brightest communication professionals come together.” The second annual Comm Week 2018 was Feb. 5-8, 2018. It was filled with events (networking, a capstone preview, a social media workshop, an alumni panel) to help Communication students prepare for their careers.

Especially popular was the 3x3x3 Speed Presenting COMMpetition. Each student group presented a three panel poster board, presented for three minutes and answered questions for three minutes while alumni and faculty judged each presentation. Jennifer Maki and Kaylie Noll won the COMMpetition with their Social Media Strategies project demonstration.

Comm Week closed with a banquet on Thursday (Feb. 8) in the Weidner Center Foyer. More than 100 guests, comprised of Communication students, faculty, alumni, parents and friends, celebrated the past, present and future of UW-Green Bay Communication.
