Prof. Meyer will travel to Naples for Blair remembrance

Prof. Timothy Meyer will represent UW-Green Bay at a memorial service this Saturday (Nov. 15) in Naples, Fla., for acclaimed philanthropist and conservationist Dorothy R. Blair. Meyer will travel in his capacity as holder of the John P. Blair Endowed Chair in Communication. Mrs. Blair passed away last May at age 87. She and her late husband were devoted friends of UW-Green Bay. Their generosity is visible with the Arboretum’s bronze “Doe with Fawns” sculpture and especially in their $1.5 million gift to create this institution’s first endowed chair. The memorial gathering will take place at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
