SBDC helps to launch a new consumer beverage

The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay has assisted Adam Kroener and Amanda Lennartz of SNFood & Beverage in launching a new consumer beverage brand that aligns with their mission. Mark your calendars, on-campus and community service work study job fair, Oct. 9

The Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment and the Office of Human Resources and Workforce Diversity are hosting a job fair for on-campus employers and community service work study partners. The event will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Phoenix Rooms. Employers may advertise current openings, recruit for future positions or simply connect with students who are seeking jobs. On-campus supervisors should have received an email with a link to register through Handshake. Faculty note: Prof. Ortiz presents at international conference

UW-Green Bay Prof. Cristina Ortiz (Humanities) was a presenter at the 24th International Conference on Literature and Hispanic Studies that took place in Valencia, Spain on June 26-28, 2019. The topic of her presentation was “Maternidad y violencia politica en la obra de dos escritoras vascas,” an excerpt of her next book dedicated to Basque female authors’ representation of political violence.
