Ninth Annual Retiree Association Benefit Golf Outing, August 15

Please consider joining in for the ninth annual Retiree Association Benefit Golf Outing, August 15, 2019 at UW-Green Bay’s Shorewood Golf Course. The event starts with a 12:30 p.m. check in and a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start for four-person scramble, a 4:30 picnic-style buffet, and 5 p.m. awards and door prize presentations. Everyone is welcome to golf; non-golfers are welcome to support the fundraiser through dinner attendance or by making a donation to the scholarship fund. Register online.  And save the date for the annual retiree dinner Sept. 25, 2019.  All retirees from all four UW-Green Bay campuses are welcome!

STEAM Engine IX artSTEAM Engine IX is Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Neville Museum. And it is free. This interactive event, sponsored in part by UW-Green Bay, features speakers with exciting projects, new business ventures and cutting- edge research. The mission of the STEAM Engine is to improve our creative economy, foster community discussion, and expand our collective knowledge. The STEAM Engine showcases individuals and organizations in the region who are seeking new horizons in the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. Doors open at 6 p.m. with a short live music performance followed by presentations starting at 6:30 p.m. A social networking hour with soda, Titletown beer, popcorn and live music, follows.
