The Bad Plus will be the featured guest artist for UW-Green Bay’s historic Jazz Fest 49 and will be performing at the Weidner Center on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. Since its outset, iconic trio The Bad Plus has dared to be different, challenging all preconceived notions of jazz. With their unique blend of influences, ranging from experimental jazz, indie rock, pop and classical music, The Bad Plus has earned a reputation as one of the most universally well-respected bands in jazz today. This October, the Weidner Center welcomes you to come discover the world’s smallest wonders. On Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m., come to National Geographic Live to explore creepy, bizarre and beautiful images on Earth with photographer Anand Varma. Then, head to the Weidner Center on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. as Aquila Theatre brings Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein to life. UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance invites you to attend ‘The Revolutionists’

“The Revolutionists,” written by Lauren Gunderson and directed by Prof. Laura Riddle (Theatre), will be hitting the stage on Oct. 12-13 and 18-19-20, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at the University Theatre, Theatre Hall, located on the UW-Green Bay campus. Taking place during the Reign of Terror in Paris, France, the play follows playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, Haitian activist Marianne Angelle and former queen Marie Antoinette as they hang out before each of them loses their head.
