Nominations are being sought for the Lavender Leadership Awards. If you know of a student, faculty member, or staff member who has “made significant contributions to improving the lives of gender, sexuality, and romantic minorities here at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay,” nominate to Loretta Rafter at email@example.com by 4 p.m. Thursday. Awards will be presented at the Lavender Graduation on April 9. Previous recipients of the support award (and therefore ineligible) are Stacie Christian, Joanie Dovekas and Jeff Willems.
The deadline is Tuesday (March 10) for nominating students for the annual UW-Green Bay Academic Excellence Symposium, which will take place Tuesday April 7, in the Phoenix Room of the University Union. Faculty are reminded to nominate students to present work, and have them complete the application proposal.
