Grandparents’ University at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay welcomed a record 204 participants July 11-12 for multigenerational learning — along with plenty of fun. The annual summer camp offers a fun chance for grandparents and grandchildren to bond, organizers say, while also offering younger attendees a taste of college life.

A record 150 grandparents and grandchildren enjoyed learning together July 12-13 at UW-Green Bay, taking part in the seventh annual Grandparents’ University. Grandparents’ University offers hands-on learning and fun for both the elder and younger GPU campers, while also offering grandkids a glimpse of college life, said Mona Christensen, director of Camps and Conferences at UW-Green Bay. It also gives grandparents and grandchildren a unique bonding opportunity, and the chance to create lasting memories.
