Rohan appointed new director of financial aid at UW-Green Bay

James Rohan has been appointed the new director of financial aid at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, effective Oct. 11.

Rohan has more than 20 years of financial aid experience including 17 years at UW-Green Bay. He has spent the last seven years as the assistant director of financial aid at the University.

Before coming to Green Bay, Rohan worked as the assistant director of financial aid at Marian College in Fond du Lac.

“Jim has deep knowledge about federal financial aid programs, regulations and reporting, and he has great technical expertise,” said Michael Stearney, dean of enrollment services at UW-Green Bay.

The Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment at UW-Green Bay awards approximately $37.7 million in federal and state loans, grants and work study each year to 4,430 students. That’s more than 70 percent of students at the University.
