SBDC offers program on search engine optimization

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Small Business Development Center is offering a series of programs on Proven Strategies for Online Marketing.   Five practical and tactical courses have been selected and are taught by successful practitioners. 

The first program is “Search Engine Optimization for Business Owners.” It will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, February 24, at the Business Assistance Center, 2701 Larsen Road, Green Bay.

“Search Engine Optimization for Business Owners” will teach participants how to select keywords that are proven performers, blend the keywords into site content, boost site popularity, and more.  Stephen Woessner is the instructor.  Participants will get a copy of his new book, The Small Business Owner Handbook to Search Engine Optimization: Increase Your Google Rankings, Double Your Site Traffic…In Just 15 Steps.

Additional programs in the series focus on social networking, Google analytics and Google adword campaigns.  

The fee for the workshop is $99.  If participants register for three or more programs in the series, they will save $20 per session.
