Snow-removal crews get the job done

Main roads were plowed, parking lots were being cleared and most campus paths have been swept as of 7:15 a.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 29) on the UW-Green Bay campus, although much work was still under way. Caution is advised for pedestrians: surfaces are very slick and not all surfaces have been sanded or salted yet. Main city streets to campus were plowed and passable this morning. (The National Weather Service at Austin Straubel in Green Bay registered 13 inches of snow as of this morning.) As always, UW-Green Bay’s winter storm policy directs individual students and employees to make their own decisions about travel, as conditions vary across the region. Employees should communicate with their supervisors and arrange to use vacation time if necessary.
