Marcia Mueller has special (Packers) bond with scholarship recipient

Here’s a fun, only-in-Green-Bay story:
When philanthropist and UW-Green Bay supporter Marcia Mueller was in town for a scholarship reception earlier this year, she asked all recipients of the Craig Mueller Scholarships (more than 20 were on hand for the reception) to put their names in a hat for two free Packers tickets she would provide. The winner was Holly Anderson, a junior from Madison who majors in arts management and design arts. Holly took her mom to the game against the Minnesota Vikings — their first ever Packers game. So grateful for the experience, Holly contacted the UW-Green Bay Advancement Office to see how she could reach Marcia, and thank her for the “amazing” time. Holly hopes to one day become a community arts developer, similar to visiting artist Candy Chang, who spent time at UW-Green Bay in fall as part of the Campus Common Theme. “I want to work with a community to establish their needs, then figure out how I can help them using art,” she says.
