A meeting on Dec. 12, 2018 at the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus attracted more than 100 small business owners and supporters of the “#myMarinetteMenominee” movement — an effort by that bi-city/bi-state community to compete for a $500,000 grant being offered through the Small Business Revolution television show. With more than 900 applications having been received for the coming season of the show, Marinette/Menominee has made the Top 10 and is now competing to be selected for the Top Five remaining cities in the running for the grant. The key to making the top five communities is tied to votes. More instruction to come. Watch the Log for details. — Text and photos by UW-Green Bay Director of Marketing, Eric Craver.
