Students line up for Ke$ha tickets

Ke$ha concert tickets

Students Andrew Haugen, Megan Ryan and Morgan Leannah were first in line Monday morning (Dec. 16) to score precious tickets for the recently announced Kress Events Center concert by pop superstar Ke$ha. The three said they claimed their spots a little before 7 a.m., about three hours before tickets went on sale. The University Ticketing and Information Center, handling sales for the student Good Times Programming organization, allowed the purchase of one $25 ticket per UW-Green Bay student ID card. Students were also allowed to buy up to four tickets apiece, with anything after the first priced at the non-student rate of $40 each. (We’re told most students bought only single tickets, for themselves.) The line reached an estimated 500 individuals, and snaked back and forth within the University Union. The student pre-sale continues Tuesday, with general public sales set to begin Wednesday.
