Three-dozen Green Bay West High School students got an up-close look at campus life Monday (Dec. 3), touring UW-Green Bay as part of a Phuture Phoenix grant program that prepares them for the ACT. The pilot test-prep course provides mentoring and academic support to help students prepare for the college entrance exam, and is designed to help boost participation in — and scores on — the ACT. Bringing the students to campus is a great way to show how hard work now eventually will help them achieve their ultimate goal — college entrance, said Phuture Phoenix director Kim Desotell. See more on the program and some great pics.
