Volleyball team enters tourney as No. 2 seed, honored by League

The Green Bay volleyball team will enter the Horizon League Tournament as the No. 2 seed following last weekend’s straight-sets victory over Wright State. The Phoenix has a bye to the semifinals and will return to the court on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 5 p.m. (CT) in Cleveland, Ohio to face the highest remaining seed following the quarterfinal matchups on Friday. It is the first 20-win season for the program since 2003. The Green Bay volleyball team placed Lydia DeWeese and Megan Powers on the All-Horizon League team and Maddie Yoss on the All-Freshman team. Head Coach Sean Burdette received Co-Horizon League Coach of the year, as announced by the league office today (Tuesday).
