In the news: Baldwin talks to students in campaign’s waning days

Campaigning continues in earnest with just six days left until Tuesday’s (Nov. 6) election. On Tuesday (Oct. 30), Senate candidate Tammy Baldwin paid a visit to campus, talking to students about her very tight race with former Gov. Tommy Thompson. The Press-Gazette was there, and talked to Baldwin about the last days of the campaign.

And speaking of elections … Watch party is Tuesday in the Union

Already sent to many students but repeated here for the record (and other interested parties): UW-Green Bay Political Science and the Center for Public Affairs will be hosting an election night watch party from 8:30-11 p.m. Tuesday (Nov. 6) in Phoenix Room C of the Union. Profs. David Helpap and Alison Staudinger will serve as panelists to provide analysis for this fun, nonpartisan event. And we’re told they’ll have snacks.
