Alumni among invitees to Thursday's business leaders meeting with Walker

A news release from Gov. Scott Walker’s office said the governor and selected state officials would be meeting privately Thursday (Sept. 29) in downtown Green Bay with about 20 local business and healthcare leaders at the third “Job Creation Forum.” Among those listed as having been invited to take part are UW-Green Bay alumni and advocates Rick Chernick ’74 of Camera Corner/Connecting Point and Rob Cera ’84 of Baylake Bank. The forums focus on issues including access to capital, regulatory reform, permit reform, tax reform, and workforce development.  Two similar forums have already been held, in La Crosse and Milwaukee.
