Reminder: Somos Latinas event is tomorrow (Sept. 20)

UW-Green Bay presents Somos Latinas: Voices of Wisconsin Latina Activists on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018. The first session will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the second session, which includes a book signing reception, will be 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place in the Phoenix Rooms located in UW-Green Bay’s University Union. This event is free and open to the community.

Twenty-five Latina agents of change share their inspirational stories in Somos Latinas: Voices of Wisconsin Latina Activists, co-edited by Andrea-Teresa Arenas, PhD, and Eloisa Gómez, who will speak at the event. Books will be available for sale at The Phoenix Bookstore on campus and at the 6 p.m. session.
