Wojta signs with Italian team

In the category of news we might have missed from earlier this summer: The Italian club Lucca announced the signing of former UW-Green Bay star Julie Wojta to a contract. Lucca is located in Tuscany, not far from Pisa and Florence. Wojta spent her first two pro seasons in Belgium with Namur. She is a 2012 Accounting graduate of UW-Green Bay, and earned second-team All-America honors for the Phoenix during her senior season. Read more.
