First-year men’s soccer coach Dan Popik wants his players to have a hard-working mentality — and he’s got the practice schedule to prove it. Team members donned their cleats and shin guards for practice at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 8), the first day — and first minute — they were allowed to do so. “We have to get the mindset early that no matter what time it is, when, how or what, we are going to be ready to compete,” Popik said.
