Finalists announced for Weidner Center executive director

Open sessions are scheduled on campus later this month for three finalists for the position of Executive Director of UW-Green Bay’s Weidner Center for the Performing Arts. Each of the candidates will make a brief presentation and be available for questions during hour-long public sessions at 1:15 p.m. each of the following days in the University Union’s 1965 Room:

• Wednesday, July 25, 1:15-2:15 p.m., Union’s 1965 Room – Kate Green, general manager, Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, Green Bay, WI (vita-pdf)

• Monday, July 30, 1:15-2:15 p.m., Union’s 1965 Room – C. Bruce Marquis, principal, Marquis Arts Consultants, Bloomington, IL (vita-pdf)

• Tuesday, July 31, 1:15-2:15 p.m., Union’s 1965 Room – William P. Prenevost, principal, Arts Executive Consulting Services, Prairie Village, KS (vita-pdf)

UW-Green Bay is seeking an executive director to oversee the facility, programming and the strategic reinvigoration of the Weidner as an arts/education/entertainment destination.
