‘Sturgeon Moon’ film by UW-Green Bay grads screens tonight

The documentary “Sturgeon Moon” will be shown at 6:30 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, July 10) as part of the Neville Public Museum’s natural resources series. The film is largely the work of two UW-Green Bay graduates: director Alex Zacarias, owner of 3N Productions, and Dean Thomas, an award-winning producer and director formerly with Wisconsin Public Television and NEWCTP. Their film looks at the success of Wisconsin’s world-renowned Lake Winnebago sturgeon fishery, and Native American interest in the fish as important cultural symbols. Read more.
