PRO Online platform changes as of July 1, 2017

The platform for Phoenix Recruitment Online (PRO) changed effective July 1.  The system/service will still be called PRO (Phoenix Recruitment Online), however, “Handshake” will now power the system. Accounts for students currently enrolled for fall 2017 were created. These students were directly invited to join the new system. As students become enrolled for fall 2017 classes, accounts will be created for students and invitations sent to complete registration. Recent alumni/graduates that are still seeking employment were also emailed directly and encouraged to register with the new system. Faculty and staff with active accounts in the old system were emailed about the platform change and asked to complete registration.  If you did not receive an email, and would like to start using the new PRO system, please visit here and create an account. Employers who use the system are able to see students who express interest in their positions and review public resumes. Here are a couple things to keep in mind when submitting student jobs to the new system:
-You may only select one Job Type when listing a position.  Please choose On Campus Student Employment.
-If a job offer is not contingent on having work study funding, please select “No” when asked if it is a work study position.  You may indicate a preference for work study in the job description.
-Handshake has an Employer Help Center with articles and videos that will address questions you may have about the new system.  Here are a couple that may be of immediate interest:

How do I post a job?

How do I contact, email or message applicants to my job?

Please contract studentemployment@uwgb.edu or careers@uwgb.edu with any additional questions.
