Today in Madison: Joint Finance considers tuition freeze, taxpayer funding

Lawmakers are meeting today (May 23) in Madison to discuss a proposed UW System tuition freeze, as well as taxpayer funding for the System and its member campuses. Budget discussions, of course, have been complicated by recent attention to UW System cash reserves, and Gov. Scott Walker recently revised his recommendations pertaining to funding for the System.
