Hildebrand lands special assistant spot at UW-Madison

Scott Hildebrand, senior executive assistant to the chancellor at UW-Green Bay, has been chosen as special assistant to Darrell Bazzell, vice chancellor for administration at UW-Madison. “Scott has an impressive track record of advocating for higher education, along with a thorough knowledge of the challenges and opportunities we confront as a university,” says Bazzell. Hildebrand, who will trade his 8th floor digs in Green Bay for a first-floor space in historic Bascom Hall, will begin his new duties sometime in June. The longtime Green Bay Press-Gazette journalist and Madison correspondent joined UW-Green Bay in 2001 as director of marketing and media relations, and moved to the chancellor’s office in 2007.
