UW-Green Bay loses community friend, alumna in Doris M. Madigan

Doris M. Madigan, 83, died peacefully Tuesday morning, March 31. She, her husband, James, and the entire family have been longtime supporters of UW-Green Bay. The Madigans founded Feeco International Inc., in the early 1950s and with their support the company became a strong partner of the new university. She served for many years on the campus Board of Visitors and the Ecumenical Center board, and with her husband was a leading member of the Founders Association. James and Doris Madigan established the Madigan Family Scholarship in 1995 to assist Green Bay-area students who show strong academic promise. Visitation will be Friday evening (April 3) at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., and Saturday morning (April 4) at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, before the 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass. Full details are at www.greenbaypressgazette.com
