Women’s basketball, softball, earn big wins

The Green Bay women’s basketball team takes to the road after impressive victories last week over Youngstown State and Cleveland State. Green Bay sits alone atop the Horizon League standings with six regular season games remaining before hosting the Horizon League Championship tournament, March 10-13. In softball, the Phoenix opened its season with a sweep over South Dakota State and Western Illinois. It was the program’s first 2-0 start since the 2000 season.
