Give BIG to the Cofrin Arboretum, Feb. 20-21

UW-Green Bay’s Cofrin Memorial Arboretum was chosen as one of 40 non-profits to participate in a matching gift opportunity called Give BIG Green Bay 2019. The arboretum — a community treasure — is in need of upgrades, including improved signage and bridge repair and replacement. University and students use the arboretum as an outdoor classroom and maintain it to preserve plant and wildlife species. Center for Biodiversity Director Bob Howe explains the importance of your gift in this video.

UW-Green Bay’s arboretum is part of something BIG.

Give BIG Green Bay is a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The 2019 campaign is the second year of this 24-hour community philanthropy event. Follow UW-Green Bay Arboretum’s Give Big Green Bay Journey on Facebook.

The campaign will support the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum:

  • reconstruction of five bridges on trails
  • update trail signage
  • trail maintenance and natural preservation
