In the news: WBAY airs story on AED efforts, awareness

Efforts to increase the number and awareness of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) on campus are receiving some local media attention, with WBAY, Channel 2 airing a story this weekend. Reporter Kristyn Allen was on campus Friday (Nov. 30), interviewing safety manager Jill Fermanich, Police Chief Tomas Kujawa and student health and safety committee member Jeff Huebner about the changes. As we told you last week, the University has added seven AEDs in recent months, bringing the total on campus to 21.
