Marinette’s West Shore Chorale has first concert, Dec. 9

The West Shore Chorale of UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus, invites the public to experience an “American Mosaic” at its first concert of the year, Dec. 9, 2018. This concert will exclusively feature music composed and arranged by American artists. “The concert is titled ‘An American Mosaic’ because it will cover a variety of genres, all composed or arranged by Americans,” Director Jane Wells said. Some of the artists that will be featured include Irving Berlin, William Billings and Morton Lauridson. “The music ranges from folk to spiritual,” she added. “There will even be a few holiday pieces at the end.” The Eagle Herald Extra has more.
