UW-Green Bay student Heba Mohammad spoke last week about the violence in the Gaza Strip, telling WFRV, Channel 5’s Heather Sawaski that the conflict there can be resolved. Mohammad, president of UW-Green Bay’s Student Government Association, still has family in the area after her parents emigrated to the U.S. in the 1980s. She also spent three months last summer touring the West Bank and Jordan, giving her an appreciation for the place her relatives call home, Sawaski reported.
