As we’ve told you here before, 12-year-old piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick will play the Weidner Center Thursday (July 11), showcasing his incredible musical talent on behalf of the Kress-Mattson Parkinson Fundraiser. The Green Bay Press-Gazette ran an interview with Bortnick in Sunday’s (July 7) newspaper, speaking with the music phenom about his background, fame and dedication to raising money for charity. Bortnick doesn’t get nervous when performing, he told reporter Eric Christenson, and he enjoys seeing his audiences derive pleasure from helping others. Plus, he just loves the music.
