First Nations Studies accepts diversity award honor, is featured on WPR

UW-Green Bay faculty members JP Leary and Cliff Abbott, on behalf of First Nations Studies, on Friday (Feb. 10) accepted one of three 2012 UW System Regents Diversity Awards during the Board of Regents meeting in Madison. FNS won the 2012 honor in the institutional/unit category, while UW-Oshkosh and UW-Eau Claire took home awards in the individual and team categories. Also Friday, Wisconsin Public Radio aired a story about the program and the accolade, featuring Prof. Lisa Poupart, chair of First Nations Studies.
