UW-Green Bay’s Mohammad will help with UW president search

Congratulations to UW-Green Bay student government leader Heba Mohammad. The senior with a double major in History and Political Science learned recently she has been appointed to the search and screen committee that will help identify a successor to UW System President Kevin Reilly, who announced last month he’ll leave his position at year’s end. Mohammad is the only student on the 18-member committee chaired by Board of Regents Vice President Regina Millner. Mohammad is a 2010 graduate of Greenfield High School, near Milwaukee. She has been active in student government and diversity initiatives on campus, and was a 2012 recipient of the System’s Outstanding Women of Color in Education award.
