Gurung appointed to national committee on psychology education


Regan A. R. Gurung, professor of Human Development and Psychology, has been selected to serve on a national council charged with improving undergraduate education in psychology departments across America. He has been appointed to the American Psychological Association Board of Educational Affairs’ new Committee on Associate and Baccalaureate Education. This new governance group will help the national association address three goals: improving representation and participation of psychologists teaching at 4-year institutions within APA; preserving the representation and participation of faculty teaching at 2-year institutions within APA; and coordinating APA activities for faculty at all undergraduate psychology programs.
