A full room with more than 100 Green Bay residents greeted UW-Green Bay Assistant Professor Aaron Weinschenk for a keynote address at the Green Bay Neighborhood Leadership Council’s Holiday Meeting, Dec. 5. His topic was political and civic engagement in the United States. Weinschenk teaches Public and Environmental Affairs. Residents who are involved in the city’s neighborhood associations, as well as Mayor Jim Schmidt and a number of other elected officials and local dignitaries, attended the event.
